Curious to know how we work?
At Ricksticks, we believe in candid transparency, so you know exactly what’s happening, and what’s coming up next. When you choose to work with us, you can expect to go through five stages of project management:

Stage 1: Assessment — Understanding your needs
Providing a solution requires a good understanding of the problem. To start off we’ll do an assessment of your organization: it's goals, it's mandate, it's strengths and weaknesses. Depending on the task ahead, this may take the form of a brand audit, interview, questionnaire or something customized to the requirements of your project. We’ll discuss target launch dates and budget, and formulate a work back schedule that will keep both parties on-track for each stage in the upcoming process.
Stage 2: Research — Developing a strategy
Now that we have a good idea of what your company is all about, we can begin to define a strategic direction that will address the specific task at hand. Drawing from the data given from the initial assessment, we’ll do our own independent research and analyze the information. Figuring out what strategy would be most appropriate in addressing your needs will set the tone for the design to come.
Stage 3: Conception — Creating initial design solutions
After deciding the project direction, we’ll move on to translating our ideas onto paper. Keeping an open mind, we’ll explore a wide variety of different visual approaches. Our design team will collaborate together to find a solution that will match the desired voice and purpose of your project. After rigorous revisions, we’ll narrow it down to two to four different concepts from which you will have your pick.
Stage 4: Review — Engaging in client feedback
This is when we present to you our best concepts for selection. It’s important to us that we share open dialogue with our clients, so we’ll be walking you through each concept to discuss the ideas behind it, and how it addresses the design challenge. This will also give us the opportunity to listen to any questions or concerns you might have.
Stage 5: Execution — Driving home the solution
Now that the concept has been selected, it’s time to go forth and implement the design solution to create a tangible product. During this process, we’ll be able to do minor tweak and revisions, addressing any possible issues that may have been discussed during the Review stage. Our studio principal will be in communication with you frequently to give you updates on the status of the campaign development, including budget considerations and anticipated next steps. You can be rest assure that the final product won’t be launched for the public until it receives your stamp of approval.
